This law stipulates that governmental agencies shall make their records and meetings schedules available to the public.

Requests must be made in writing and mailed or faxed to the address at the right, specifying that it is a Sunshine Law Request and sent to the attention of the Division of Fire Safety Custodian of Records.  Phone or e-mail requests will not be accepted.  Within 72 hours of receipt of the request, the Division will either acknowledge receipt of the request or will ask the requester to clarify the request.

In addition, meeting schedules will be available at least 24 hours in advance and notices will be posted at the meeting site.
