Carrell a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, has been employed with the Division as a Fire Investigator, stationed in the northwest quadrant of the state since October 30, 1986. He is a state certified Fire Investigator, Fire Inspector and Fire Service Instructor. Carrell initiated the canine progam for the Investigation Unit where he and his K-9 partner, Gus, were nationally recognized for their expertise in the area of Canine Accelerant Detection. He has assisted the Training Unit as an instructor for the various Division sponsored courses offered. In addition he has completed training at the National Fire Academy and U.S. Law Enforcement Academy.
Greg, his wife Brenda, and two children will be relocating to the Jefferson City area.
