Further congratulations are due Investigator James "Butch" Amann.  In addition to DPS Employee of the Month he was selected as the State of Missouri   Employee of the Month for October 2006. 

Governor Blunt presented Butch with a congratulatory plaque at a reception in the Governor's office on Wednesday, November 8, 2006.

Congratulations to James "Butch" Amann, Fire Investigator within the Division of Fire Safety, for being selected as the September 2006 Employee of the Month for the Department of Public Safety.  Butch was selected for this award for the personal initiative he has exhibited in working with juvenile burn survivors and children with fire setting behaviors.

For the past 10 years, Butch has volunteered at the Missouri Children's Burn Camp as a counselor to help children who have  physical scarring from burn injuries cope with their self esteem and self confidence issues.  Butch has an unwavering commitment to provide assisstance to those children in need.
