The purpose of the Missouri Blasting Safety Act is to foster the safe use of explosives in mining and construction by establishing and enforcing consistent statewide industry standards for licensing of blasters and users of explosives.


Blaster Training Programs

Missouri statute 319.303 authorizes the Division of Fire Safety to approve courses of instruction which meet the training requirement for obtaining a blaster's license or renewal of a blaster's license in the state of Missouri.

As of March 17, 2009, the Division has approved the following courses for blaster training:
