State Fire Mutual Aid Program
K9 REGISTRATION

NEW MUTUAL AID SEARCH K9 TEAM REGISTRATION!

The Division of Fire Safety continually strives towards the most efficient and effective coordination of mutual aid resources during times of disaster.  Our new mutual aid K9 team registration process is our latest step towards an increased visibility of an important category of response assets.  The Joplin tornado response highlights the need for a comprehensive list of K9 teams.

We encourage K9 handlers who wish to be considered for mutual aid deployment to complete the registration form and return it to the Division of Fire Safety for inclusion in our mutual aid resource database.  At this time, the teams we are interested in registering include area and disaster search K9/handler teams, for both live and human remains detection.
